Sarah A. Caroleo, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. Using multiple methods, I examine ways that K-12 policy, practitioners, and gifted and special education systems contribute to or ameliorate educational inequities. I am particularly interested in understanding how schools can effectively implement meaningful inclusion in general education classrooms.
Prior to doctoral studies, I served as an elementary educator and instructional coach in Nashville and Los Angeles. I hold a Ph.D. in Education from Johns Hopkins University, a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from University of Georgia, and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Greenville University.
